Program Overview

Northgate Academy offers flexible course options for students who want to catch up, stay on track, or get ahead—without enrolling in a full diploma program. With open enrollment year-round, students can start a single course (or up to three at a time) whenever they’re ready, not just during the summer.

Each course is aligned with national academic standards and taught from a Christian worldview, making it a great fit for students who value both academic rigor and faith-based learning. Whether you’re working on credit recovery, filling a gap in your homeschool program, or trying to stay ahead of schedule, Northgate’s online platform makes it easy to learn from anywhere.

Students have up to 6 months to complete each course at their own pace. Our support team is available during business hours to help students stay on track. As an accredited institution, Northgate’s courses are designed to transfer easily to most public and private high schools across the U.S.

Yes. Northgate Academy is regionally accredited by Cognia (formerly AdvancED), the parent organization of the North Central Association CASI, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools CASI, and the Northwest Accrediting Commission.

Northgate Academy also holds accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools CESS, and we are an "A+" rated, accredited member of the Better Business Bureau. We issue the same accredited high school diploma as public schools, and our programs are approved by state agencies to ensure standards are met.

Which program is right for my student?

Northgate Academy offers flexible, accredited programs designed to support students throughout their high school journey, all built on a strong foundation of Christian faith. Our core program is for students in grades 9–12 and includes a full selection of courses aligned with national standards and presented from a biblical worldview.

Students can follow our standard Christian high school curriculum or, for those seeking greater academic rigor, choose to take Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses through our accredited sister school, Excel High School. These advanced courses allow students to challenge themselves while still graduating from NGA with a diploma rooted in Christian values.

For adult learners over the age of 18, we offer a separate Adult High School Diploma program designed to help students return to school and complete their education on a flexible schedule.
