Pennsylvania has some of the most detailed homeschool laws in the country. Parents must submit a notarized affidavit, keep thorough portfolios, and provide standardized testing in certain grades. While this oversight helps ensure quality education, it also puts a lot of pressure on families to document learning, manage curriculum, and track progress independently.

That’s where Northgate Academy comes in. We offer Pennsylvania families an accredited online Christian high school experience that satisfies academic expectations while supporting spiritual growth. With built-in lessons, assignments, and automated grading, you don’t have to design your own program or worry about meeting benchmarks—our structured curriculum helps keep your student on track for graduation and aligned with Pennsylvania homeschool requirements.
