Kansas Homeschooling and Christian Education Options

In Kansas, homeschooling is treated as a non-accredited private school. Families must register their homeschool with the Kansas Department of Education, maintain regular school attendance, and provide instruction that’s equivalent in quality and duration to public education. Parents are responsible for curriculum selection, instruction, and recordkeeping.

Northgate Academy offers Kansas families a powerful homeschool solution. Our online Christian high school is fully accredited and provides everything needed for a quality education—from curriculum and assessments to grading and academic records. With Northgate, you maintain the freedom and flexibility of homeschooling without the burden of developing your own high school program.
