But let’s face it, sometimes life events get in the way or classes are too overwhelming, and before you know it, you’re missing credits that you need to graduate. No one wants it to happen, but if you’re in that situation, Northgate Academy’s faith based individual course options are a flexible way to make up those missing credits.
Accredited
Although it’s always important for you to check with your school before you sign up for any outside courses, one important piece of information to share with them is that Northgate Academy is accredited through Cognia and is recognized by the State and US Department of Education as an accredited non-public school. Recognized by all colleges, universities, employers, and the U.S. Military, NGA is a solid pathway to earning transferable credits.
Online & Self-Paced
One of NGA’s most attractive qualities is the incredible amount of flexibility we offer our students. Because our courses are all 100% online and self-paced, you don’t have to completely alter your life or miss out on summer vacation plans to take them. You can still travel to see family members, work a part time job, participate in extracurricular activities, and work on your full-time courses at your regular school while working on making up your credits with NGA during your down-time.
You can work on Northgate courses anywhere you have a solid internet connection and access to a laptop or PC. And because we offer our students a full 12 months to complete their self-paced courses, you can choose the completion rate that works best for you. If you want to focus intensely for a shorter period of time to knock out the credits, you can. Otherwise, you can spread the work out to accommodate your other classes and activities. In other words, your life doesn’t have to stop when it comes to enrolling part time with Northgate Academy.

If you’re looking for commonly required elective credits to catch up on, you can find those through Northgate, too. We offer everything that our full-time students take to any part-time students as well. You can choose from the following most commonly required electives:
- Health and Fitness or Health in a Christian Perspective (Health & PE credit)
- Art History or Music Appreciation (Fine Arts credit)
- Spanish I or II; French I or II (International Languages credit)
