Whether your family has been called to the mission field or your child has the tender heart of a servant and wants the opportunity to participate in mission trips or spend more time volunteering in the community, finding the best way to keep them on track academically while following the call to serve doesn’t need to be an obstacle. Online schooling through Northgate Academy provides the following benefits for students who are unable to attend a traditional school:

  • A flexible online schedule,
  • A Christ-centered mission and curriculum, and
  • Multiple avenue of support for your student.

Flexible Online Schedule

Students at Northgate Academy have a full 12 months to complete a grade-level of coursework. Students don’t have to login to their classes at certain times, so changing time-zones is not a problem. Additionally, they can choose to spend more time on their classes certain days of the week to allow more flexibility to schedule service work. As long as they are keeping up, you and your student can determine the best schedule for them.

The Christ-Centered Mission & Curriculum

Not only will your student have the flexibility to serve, but you can also enroll your student with the confidence that Northgate’s Mission “To raise up the next generation of Christian leaders, through the training and nurturing of students in their spiritual, academic, emotional, and social development. This is realized through delivering a Christ-centered education, founded on Biblical truth, which leads to the development of a world-view that will greater impact the world for Christ.”  The content we provide will help your child prepare for whatever their goals are after high school while deepening their relationship with Christ. Because we understand that it’s vital for that content to align with your beliefs, our Statement of Faith is an important resource to examine as well.

Support for Your Student

Northgate offers multiple avenues of support for our students. Your child will have an Academic Success Coach to help them select their classes and who will communicate with you about their progress. You can reach out to their coach through email to make sure they’re on track. Our Parent Portal will allow you to view the course content, your student’s progress, and their grades; you can even sign up for regular notifications to find out when they complete coursework and what their scores are.

If your child is struggling or just needs a little bit of clarification about their assignments, subject matter experts are just a message away. They will respond within one business day with the help your student needs.

During our regular business hours, our on-site professionals can answer immediate questions through the easy-to-access chat feature directly on our website or by calling us at 800-339-7132. For less time-sensitive questions, our support ticket system is available as well.

Northgate Academy stands alongside our students and families throughout their academic journey.
