• Official transcripts or academic records issued by your previous school(s) or the appropriate educational authority, showing all completed high school grade levels for which you are seeking transfer credit. Records from each completed grade level must be included; completing a later grade level does not establish or replace records for earlier grade levels.
• A certified English translation if your official academic records are not in English. Translation services that meet Scholaro’s requirements are available through scholaro.com.

A course identified specifically as Algebra II, World History, Biology, or English Literature provides more information for evaluation than a record that identifies coursework only as “Mathematics,” “Social Studies,” “Science,” or “English.” Northgate Academy relies on the documentation you provide and the resulting Scholaro evaluation — we cannot assume the content or academic level of a course based solely on a general course title, and submitting a transcript does not guarantee that every course will receive a specific Northgate Academy equivalency.

When a course title is general, unclear, or not recognizable, and the documentation does not verify the course content or academic level, the course may:

• receive only a general or elective credit designation;
• receive an equivalency different from the one you expected;
• not be awarded transferable credit if the available documentation is insufficient to establish an appropriate academic equivalency.

You are responsible for providing Scholaro with complete and accurate official academic records for all completed high school grade levels for which you are seeking transfer credit, along with any documents Scholaro requests to confirm your records are official. If international credits are unclear or insufficiently documented, you are responsible for obtaining any additional official documentation requested.

An evaluation may be amended on a case-by-case basis, but course titles will remain as they appear on the official academic record. Documents submitted after an evaluation is completed may be subject to a re-evaluation fee under Scholaro’s terms and conditions.
