Admissions Requirements
Northgate Academy is an accredited online Christian high school serving students in grades 9–12. With a flexible, faith-based program and rolling enrollment, we welcome students from across the United States and around the world. Whether you’re seeking a fresh start, a supportive online environment, or a biblically grounded education, Northgate makes it easy to begin.
To help us serve you better, we ask that the enrollment application be completed honestly and thoroughly. Students must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, as all coursework is delivered in English. Enrollment is open to students who have completed 8th grade and are at least 13 years old.
Looking for middle school options? Our sister school, Excel High School, offers a fully online program for grades 6–8.
For adult learners, Northgate Academy also offers an Adult High School Diploma Track for students aged 18 and older. No proof of previous schooling is required. Adult students can enroll anytime and begin learning at their own pace.
Transferring Credits to Northgate Academy
Our Credit Transfer Policy
Northgate Academy welcomes transfer students from accredited schools across the U.S. and around the world. We proudly accept credits from public and charter schools, qualified homeschools, and international schools recognized by their country’s Ministry of Education.
To maintain the integrity of our diploma and meet accreditation standards, students may transfer in up to 75% of the total credits required for graduation. This means we can award transfer credit for up to 16 of the 21.5 total credits needed to earn a Northgate Academy diploma. The remaining credits—a minimum of 6—must be completed through Northgate to ensure all graduates meet our academic and faith-based standards.
If you’re unsure how your previous credits will apply, our team is here to help evaluate your transcript and guide you through the process.
