Philosophy of Education
Northgate Academy is an innovative Christian learning community in the tradition of college preparatory high schools. As such, Northgate strives to foster a culture of excellence in learning based on biblical teachings in a flexible, technology-based online learning environment. Education, as the process of teaching and learning, involves the whole person by developing the knowledge, values, and skills that enable each learner to become successful in academics and in the modern world.
Statement of Faith
The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. This Statement of Fundamental Truths is intended simply as a basis of fellowship among us, as stated in 1 Corinthians 1:10 (KJV/NIV) and Acts 2:42 (KJV/NIV). The phraseology employed in this Statement is not inspired nor contended for, but the truth set forth is held to be essential to a full-gospel ministry. No claim is made that it covers all Biblical truth, only that it covers our need as to these fundamental doctrines.
